WELCOME TO
GLORIOUS GATHERING |
|
Dear Readers,
For those of you
that come to this page on a regular bases for new devotions that I
have written, I wish to apologize. Some things have happened in the
last year that has hindered my writing for a while. Thanks to
co-owner Charity for filling in a bit for me with some things that
she received from her dad in my absence of writing, and thanks to
her dad as well for sending them along. And now by the Lords grace,
as co-owner and friend Charity would say:
“And now back to
your regularly scheduled programming.”
~
Mark Rotramel
For this months
devotion, I simply want to share some of the lines to a song I made
up and sung some time back in 2007. I just picked up the guitar one
day, or was it at night, I don’t remember now. Anyway, I picked up
the guitar, started strumming a Johnny Cash like rhythm, and begin
to sing these words.
“I’m on my way to
a land not made with hands. I’m on my way to the golden strand.
I’m on my way to see the great I Am. I’m on my way, I’m on my way,
I’m on my way to Heavens Land. All of the cares of this world I’ll
leave behind. When I up and leave some day to meet my maker divine.
Standing there in that bright land with the lover of my Soul.
Bowing there before the throne, perfectly made whole.
I am on my way to
that land not made with hands, I am on my way far from this weary
land. I am on my way to that home of perfect peace, I am on my way
where all sorrow it shall cease. I am on my way to see the great I
Am!”
If you would also
like to be on this path to Heavens land, and are not sure if you are
or not, see John chapter 3 verse 16 in the Bible. That will help
you know how to go to be with Jesus and His Father.
